Let it Flow
Let it flow was the result of the first project in my master, featuring an experienceable interactive installation that visualized Google’s data flows and their impact on personalized search results, prompting visitors to consider their settings.
Through programming, soldering and realizing the technology within this installation I mostly expanded my skills in T&R and MD&C. The project also highlighted the importance of setting and communicating boundaries in a team to manage workload effectively. By taking a hands-on approach, I realized that while it can yield valuable results, it often lacks the deeper reasoning I prefer (D&RP). This further guided the development of my vision to using design to critically engage with and address ethical concerns in technology.
